Historic Cemetery at Tubberneering

Tubberneering Graveyard is a D-shaped graveyard measuring 62m NE-SW and 45m NW-SE.

It is defined by straight stone-clad earthen bank at roadside at NW and curved stone-clad earthen bank elsewhere.

There is no knowledge of any church ever existing in the immediate vicinity with no visible ruins anywhere in the graveyard.

North Wexford Historical Society has recorded the headstones in 14 graveyards in North Wexford including the headstones at Tubberneering cemetery.
